MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 5, 2019 SPECIAL MEETING

 

Meeting opened at 5:30

Present at the meeting:

Mayor- Linda Petterson-Law

Trustee- Robyn Rose

Trustee- Linda Denton

Trustee Timothy Morford

Trustee- Stephen Helmin

 

Also present- Winnie Blackwood from the Recorder

 

Mayor received a letter from Christine Kearns stating that if the meetings were going to be posted as a WWTP meeting only Linda could attend because she is the only one on the WWTP Board. To resolve this issue the Mayor wishes to appoint each Village Board member to the WWTP Board until a WWTP Board is established.

 

Motion to by Trustee Denton to appoint Robyn Rose, Linda Denton, Tim Morford, and Stephen Helmin to the JWWTP, Seconded by Trustee Helmin. All Ayes and No Nays. Motion passed

 

Mayor looking for a liaison between the Village of Fultonville and the Village of Fonda. She asked Trustee Helmin if he would be will. His demeaner is preferable to some others. He would work with Mayor Peeler and Trustee Healey to get moving forward. Mayor to meet with Jim Park to see if he would be willing to service in the JWWT board again. Trustee Helmin is willing to take this task on. Full board is in favor.

 

Next meeting with Fonda is Monday February 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Need to talk money. Fonda hasn’t paid a quarterly payment since September 2017.

 

Trustee Helmin asked about a tree and some bushes in the public parking lot near the Reform Church that look like they had been run over. There was an accident there earlier in the week and they were hit by a Hertz rental truck.

 

The Village sign has been knocked over by a tractor trailer backing down the hill. The Mayor will speak with Ron to have it fixed.

 

Trustee Denton asked about a barking dog. The Mayor spoke with Grant, and a letter was sent to the home owner.

MOTION MADE BY Trustee Helmin, Seconded by Trustee Denton to adjourn. AYES and NAYS. MOTION PASSED
